🐐 The Curious Goat and the Secret of the Missing Vegetables
🌽 Life on Sunny Hill Farm
Sunny Hill Farm was a peaceful place filled with green fields, big red barns, and happy animals. Every day, the sun rose with a golden glow, waking up the rooster, cows, ducks, sheep, hens, and one very curious goat named Bubbles.
Bubbles wasn’t like the other goats. While the rest of the animals were happy munching grass and playing in the sun, Bubbles always wanted to know why things happened. Why did the sun rise in the east? Why did the ducks quack more in the evening? And most recently—why were Farmer Ravi’s vegetables disappearing every morning?
🥕 The Mystery of the Disappearing Vegetables
One fine morning, Farmer Ravi came out of his house scratching his head.
“The carrots, again!” he sighed. “And now even the spinach is gone!”
The animals gathered near the vegetable garden, curious. The chickens clucked nervously, the cows mooed in confusion, and the ducks flapped their wings. But Bubbles, the goat, squinted her eyes and sniffed the ground.
“This isn’t normal,” Bubbles whispered to herself. “Someone’s sneaking into the garden at night.”
That night, while everyone slept, Bubbles stayed awake. She hid behind the haystack near the garden, watching silently. Hours passed. The moon climbed high into the sky, and then... rustle... rustle...
Out of the shadows came a group of rabbits! They were nibbling on the carrots and spinach as if they hadn’t eaten in days.
Bubbles didn’t want to scare them away, so she waited until morning.

The next day, Bubbles called a meeting under the big mango tree.
“We need to talk,” she said.
The animals gathered around. Bubbles explained what she saw and why the rabbits were stealing.
“They’re not bad. They’re just hungry. Their burrow was destroyed in the rain, and they have no food left.”
The wise old cow nodded slowly. “Then we must help them. Sunny Hill Farm has enough for everyone—if we share.”
The animals came up with a plan. Bubbles led the way. The ducks used their beaks to collect floating greens from the pond. The chickens pecked at the grains. The sheep gathered leftover corn cobs from the field. And Bubbles? She chewed off some tender leaves and tied them into a neat bundle with her teeth.
That evening, they all marched to the edge of the forest where the rabbits lived.
The rabbit family was surprised and overjoyed. “We didn’t mean to steal,” said Mama Rabbit. “We were just so scared and hungry.”
Bubbles smiled. “From now on, come to us. We’ll make sure you’re fed, and maybe even help you build a new burrow!”
🐓 A Happier Farm for Everyone
Days turned into weeks. The rabbits became part of the Sunny Hill Farm family. They helped nibble weeds from the garden, keeping it neat and healthy. The animals worked together more than ever. Even Farmer Ravi noticed the change.
“Hmm,” he said one morning, watching the animals working side by side. “I haven’t lost a single vegetable in weeks. And everything looks better than ever.”
He didn’t know the secret behind it all—the secret of one curious goat who believed in asking questions, solving problems, and most importantly, helping others.
And so, life on Sunny Hill Farm became more beautiful than ever.
